Worldspan API 6.6

Worldspan API is a suite of travel distribution web services from Worldspan (now part of Travelport) that enables developers to build applications on top of the Worldspan global distribution system. It provides programmatic access to real-time availability and schedules; fare and rate shopping; and booking and management of air, hotel, and car reservations. Core capabilities include PNR creation and modification, ticketing (issue, void, exchange), seat selection and ancillary services, and post-booking servicing.

Designed for online travel agencies, travel management companies, and enterprise booking tools, the API supports high-volume transactions and integration with back-office systems. Access typically requires a commercial agreement and credentials issued by Worldspan/Travelport. The services use industry-standard message formats and security, and are backed by documentation, a certification environment, and developer support to help deliver reliable, scalable travel applications.
